# Introduction

> Connect your FreightPOP account to Claude or ChatGPT and run freight operations in plain English.

The **FreightPOP MCP Server** connects your FreightPOP account to AI clients like Claude and ChatGPT using the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Once connected, you can look up shipments, request rate quotes, import orders, and book shipments by asking your AI client in plain English, without switching tabs or digging through menus.

## Who this is for

FreightPOP customers who want to run day-to-day freight operations through an AI client (Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, ChatGPT) instead of navigating the FreightPOP web app. If you already have a FreightPOP account, you can connect it in a few minutes.

## What you can do

Ask your AI client things like:

Use a real tracking number, order number, or shipment ID from your own FreightPOP account. For quotes, give the pallet count, weight, and dimensions; FreightPOP works out the freight classification for you.
